Welcome to Patentlyze. By accessing this site, you agree to these Terms.

What Patentlyze is

Patentlyze is an editorial publication that writes plain-English commentary on patents filed by Big Tech companies at the USPTO. Every piece of editorial content represents our opinion and analysis. None of it is legal advice. Always consult a qualified patent attorney before taking any action based on patent information.

Use of the site

You may browse, read, and share Patentlyze articles for personal and non-commercial use. You may quote short excerpts with proper attribution and a link back to the original article. You may not:

  • Republish full articles without permission
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy content for resale or redistribution
  • Misrepresent our editorial commentary as legal advice
  • Attempt to disrupt the site’s normal operation

Editorial accuracy

Our coverage is researched and written by the Patentlyze Team based on public USPTO patent filings. We work hard to be accurate, but we do not warrant that every article is free of errors. If you find an error, please email us at [email protected] and we will correct it promptly.

The underlying patent text and figures are public-domain US government documents from the USPTO. Our editorial commentary, design, and original writing are copyright Patentlyze.

No professional advice

Nothing on Patentlyze constitutes legal, financial, investment, or business advice. Patent law is complex and fact-specific. If you are considering filing a patent, evaluating prior art, or making a business decision based on a patent’s existence or claims, consult a qualified patent attorney in your jurisdiction.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Patentlyze and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims related to the site is limited to fifty US dollars ($50).

The site contains links to third-party websites (USPTO, company sites, etc.). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
