New Nvidia Patents
Nvidia's patent filings track the AI buildout in real time, covering GPUs, robotics, simulation, networking, and the software that ties them together.
Through the USPTO’s September 24, 2026 release, Patentlyze has covered 526 notable Nvidia patent applications, including 118 published in the last 30 days.
This week's published patents
Nvidia's 24 newest filings sort into three clusters:
- Self-driving and cameras. Six filings cover autonomous vehicles and imaging, including a system that flags when car cameras are too slow, one that builds 3D intersection maps from flat footage, and a surround-view display that reshapes around nearby objects.
- Graphics and rendering. A large cluster tackles GPU work, from a neural network that decides when to ray-trace a scene and an AI that renders film-quality surfaces in real time, to multi-chip fixes that stop GPUs talking over each other and keep graphics data on the correct chip.
- AI perception and generation. Remaining filings push AI to understand and create, covering a conversational assistant that remembers user preferences, a system that teaches models to fix their own blind spots, and tools that read object position from a single image or grow small textures into full images.

Nvidia patent questions, answered
What is Nvidia working on right now?
Nvidia's current patent filings concentrate on Nvidia's text-to-3D characters, with newer activity in AI assistants that remember you. The breakdown above shows each program’s filing count and latest activity.
How many patents did Nvidia publish this month?
97 Nvidia patent applications have published in September 2026 so far, after 84 in August. Patentlyze has covered 526 Nvidia filings since tracking began in May 2026.
Does a Nvidia patent mean the feature will launch?
No. A published application is not a product announcement. Companies file to protect options, and most patented ideas never ship in the form described. What filings do show is where Nvidia is spending research effort right now.
Where can I find Nvidia’s newest patents?
This page updates every week, when the USPTO publishes its new batch of applications. The newest Nvidia filings appear in the list below.
